Pili Pala sends a big welcome to all the children and parents who have joined us over the past month. We have great pleasure in announcing that all of the children have settled well into Pili Pala and look forward to the happy and memorable times ahead.
Over the next few weeks we will be holding the following events
Valentines day disco- Friday 13th February-Please can all children wear red clothing
Pancake day-Tuesday 17th February- Lots of fun cooking activities will be carried out throughout the day
Chinese new year celebration day- Thursday 19th February, please can all children wear Chinese themed clothing.
St Davids day party- Monday 2nd March, please can all children wear Welsh themed outfits.
Red nose day 2015- We will be holding a fun themed day which includes high tea with our friends to raise money for comic relief on Friday 13th march, please can all children wear their pyjamas and bring a small donation into nursery on the day.
St Patricks day- Tuesday 17th March- Please can all children wear green clothing
In order for Pili Pala to continue to strive as a healthy business it is vital that all fees are paid. Please can all parents ensure that their account is kept up to date and payments are made on time, Failure to do so may result in your child losing their place within the nursery. We also request that all payment are made via our direct bank account, details are as follows:

Pili Pala would like to thank all of our parents who have brought their accounts up to date, we appreciate the past few months have been difficult but are overjoyed at the continual support shown.
Pili Pala would like to announce the return of its introductory offer. For each child a current parent introduces to the nursery they will then receive a free week’s childcare.
Please can all parents ensure that their child has the adequate amount of nappies, nappy cream and wet wipes at the nursery at all times.
Please can all parents provide a supply of spare clothing each day for their child and a set of outdoor clothing for example a waterproof coat and wellington boots. Please can all parents also ensure all of their child’s clothing is clearly labelled to avoid any confusion with missing items of clothing.
We would like to remind parents that their child’s key worker and Kate are always available to discuss their child’s development and progress.
All of the food provided to the children is cooked fresh on the premises following the nutrition and health guidelines issued by The Welsh Assembly Government. In order to maintain good food practice and policies we must adhere to all of these guidelines. Our meal times are as follows:
Breakfast: 8:30 am-9:30 am
Developmental log books
Please can all log books containing your childrens work be returned to nursery asap.
Home work tasks
Please can all homework tasks be returned to nursery asap
Change of days
Please can parents ensure any change of days are submitted by a Thursday ready for the following week.
The nursery photographer will be here on Wednesday 18th February to take our childrens photographs, There will be a lovely scene and will make fabulous mothers day gifts, siblings and other family members may also attend.
Pots and pans
We would gratefully receive any unwanted pots and pans that you may have at home. These items will them be used through activities such as noisy play and role play.
Grwp coch are currently looking for items for their Junk modelling, we would gratefully receive any empty pringle tubes, smarties containers etc that you no longer require.
